Unswoc-discussion
This is the club discussion list, it's for chatting about the outdoors and the outdoors club.
It's an unmoderated list meaning that any subscriber can post whatever they like. Also note that any any posts you make will be accessable by anyone in the world with access to the world wide web. Please do not abuse it or I will lock it down. A limited number of "flatmate wanted" emails are acceptable, but try to keep it ontopic.
There is a "digest mode" which sends you a summary at the end of each day containing all posts - this is great if you want to keep traffic low but still want to hear about what's going on.
Subscribing and unsubscribing is easy and can be done from the Unswoc-discussion mailinglist page. Read the instructions carefully before emailing me with subscription/unsubscription requests.

Unswoc-events
This list is ONLY for trip announcements/information. Don't try and post anything else or it will be rejected. Valid trips include:
- Announcements of future club trips/social activities
- Non-club social/adventure activities - what gets approved depends on how the moderator is feeling, you can always try :)
You should have received an invitation to subscribe when you joined the club - if not you may do so yourself at the
Unswoc-events mailinglist page.
Unswoc-announce
Unswoc-announce is reserved for emails relating directly to the running of the club. This is limited to a few very important emails per year such as announcment of the Annual General Meeting. You are automatically subscribed and since it is so important and the traffic so low, you are required to be subscribed to the list to be a member of the club. If you wish to be unsubscribed, please contact the club president.
