About Us
The club is run entirely by volunteers under the supervision of the Sports Association. We've had trouble getting enough volunteers so as you can see some of us hold several positions.
Here's a little bit about the current exec:
Damon: President
Function in the club: Ensure the smooth running of the club, liaise with the Sports Association, Call club meetings with the rest of the exec, organise Boree Log. Mainly just keeping an eye on things.
Outdoor Activities: I'm into canyoning and climbing mostly. I'd also really like to start getting into adventure racing and mountaineering.
Other activities and interests: When I'm not outside, I wish I were.

Anthony: Vice President

Jess: Treasurer
Function in the club: Oversee the club's funds, buy beer for the club bbqs, chase up reimbursement from the Sports Association
Outdoor Activities: I mostly go bushwalking and climbing, but i'm up for having a stab at most other things…
Other activities and interests: Swimming in our vault of cash (muahahah)

Pip: Secretary
Function in the club: Responsible for looking after the club's membership database, compiling the newsletters and attending exec meetings to record the minutes (as I recall them).
Outdoor Activities: rock climbing rocks (ha so original… also does walking to the crag count as bushwalking hehe?), will try my hand at canyoning if it isn't too chilly and want to get into mountain biking and any other adventuring you can think of!!!!
Other activities and interests: Chasing after cute animals is my favourite OTHER weekend past time! Strangely enough, I haven't convinced one it needs a cuddle yet!

Steve: Safety Officer
Function in the club: Ensure all trips that are running are being run in a safe manner. Ensure that all club gear is safe for use, and if not is retired.
Outdoor Activities: I am interested in most outdoor activities, although I primarily hike, canyon and mtb ride. I have also been known to paddle canoes and kayaks, wander about with snowshoes on and every now and then I poke my head in a cave.
Other activities and interests: Some people think I will get my degree in Civil Engineering one day, but I'm not so sure…

Outdoor Activities: Since I grew up in the Blue mountains, I have pretty much done most of the outdoor activities available up there - camping, abseiling, walking, mountain biking and canyoning. I havn't done a great deal of climbing so thats my current passion.
Other activities and interests: Studying Aerospace Engineering and riding my racing bike around the place.

Function in the club: Help bridge the divide between SaRs (Sport and Recreation) and the club.
Outdoor Activities: I do pretty much a bit of everything, at the moment i'm doing a lot of skiing and rock climbing as well as trying to get more into mountaineering.
Other activities and interests: I also dabble in long distance running.
